#57 Stone

#57 Stone is usually a referral to a specific sieve or screen size the stone has been processed by. Typically this is 1/2" up to 1 1/2" stones that have very little fines. The fines and grit have all been screened out to leave a clean stone to use for structural support, drainage beds, and road toppings. #57 Stone can be of any type of rock as long as its sized to the appropriate size but is most commonly of limestone origin around our area.
