#89 Stone

#89 Stone is usually a referral to a specific sieve or screen size the stone has been processed by. Typically this is 1/4" up to 1/2" stones that will contain fines. The fines and grit have been left in this #89 Stone to provide more binding and structural support, drainage beds, and road toppings. #89 Stone can be of any type of rock as long as its sized to the appropriate size but is most commonly of limestone origin around our area.
