Decomposed Granite

Decomposed Granite also commonly referred to as DG is widely used in the landscaping industry. Some of its many uses are driveways, walking paths, landscape beautification, subbase for flagstone patios, and filling joints on flagstone patios. DG is naturally occurring and is a product of decaying granite breaking down and forming sizes ranging all the way from 1" pieces down to the 1/4" minus fines and residual clays contained in the product. Decomposed Granite is usually brownish to pinkish in color and will look darker brown when using and spreading only to dry an set up a light brown color with hints of pink.
